COMED WATER FILTERS 

Protection against Waterborne Microorganisms 

Cobetter COMED point-of-use infection control filters, provide a convenient, low-cost and secure method to reduce the risk of waterborne particulates and pathogens (such as Legionella and Pseudomonas) from reaching patients’ weak immune systems. 


VALIDATED RETENTION OF MICROORGANISMS 

Cobetter validation laboratories can perform Bacteria Challenge Test according to ASTM F-838. 

Cobetter medical point-of-use filters use sterilizing grade 0.2μm Polyethersulfone (PES) membranes. The capsule is challenged with a suspension of Brevundimonas diminuta at a concentration of 10 organisms per cm . The sterile period can be up to 62 days depending on respective filter configurations.
